The PerlDesk Windows client is designed for your staff, enabling them to receive instant alerts on new ticket submissions, ticket updates and includes a fully featured chat system. Your staff can chat with users right from their desktop!
Please Note: This product is available as a Free add-on to our Enterprise customers. Limited license holders would need to upgrade.
Overview of Features
PerlDesk Live Chat can connect to any installation of PerlDesk running 3.4 or later, each of your staff can run the application and connect to your installation.
Features Include:
Your customers or visitors can request to chat with your team right from your site, or your PerlDesk installation and select the department they would like to chat with. It will then route the chat to the first staff user to accept the notification (from within PerlDesk, or the windows application).
Conducting a Chat
An easy to use, standard chat screen will appear on the desktop when a chat is in operation. This screen can be minimized or hidden, and there is a sound alert for new messages. You can also save the history of a chat at any time.
Runs right from your Task Bar!
When minimized the application will run right from your taskbar, keeping it out of the way but visible when an alert is needed or a chat is requested.
